Looks like my Note, and I love that.

Yeah, this will be what pries me off the blackberry I think unless BB10 is a game changer.

I'd go for that sort of thing too if I could handle touch screen - which I simply just can't seem to do, major wiring disconnect between eyes, brain and hands with touch screens, I've got reasonable hand coordination in general which makes the touch screen drive me more crazy. I have fallen in love with my last Blackberry though (it's a 9780 so no idea where that fits into the scheme of releases), though a tinsy wincy slightly larger screen for viewing would make a big difference.

I don't think it's released in Singapore yet.

Yeah, like that's going to happen. Unless perhaps the game in question is tiddlywinksbaloo wrote:Yeah, this will be what pries me off the blackberry I think unless BB10 is a game changer.

If it is tiddlywinks there's a good chance Apple will copy that for their next release too.BoD wrote:Yeah, like that's going to happen. Unless perhaps the game in question is tiddlywinksbaloo wrote:Yeah, this will be what pries me off the blackberry I think unless BB10 is a game changer.

Re: My next phone....
It looks like it's going to be better than HTC One X. At least the battery is bigger.
Re: My next phone....
So how much better than the 'old' samsung galaxys? I've had mine almost 2 years, and it's driving me insane....super slow...though it may be a refurbished one due to a slight accident mine had....
I saw Nokia came out with with a new one the other day - forgot name, but I feel like I'd want to try them again - nokia's always seemed to last...

Having been provided with a Galaxy 11 today, and having taken nearly 10 mins to type in my email password correctly, I suspect it's going to take a wee while for me to get over my well loved Nokia !chocolate wrote:I loved every Nokia I owned until I got a not so smart smartphoneTas wrote:I have loved every nokia I've owned, so must admit is hard to deviate from Choccy (some random work person been picking them for me so have to thank them one day).

Re: My next phone....
Neo is currently setting up his new HTC One X - which came as a bit of a surprise to me as I was previously advised that he'd like a new phone for his birthday next month (40th!) and, even though he has one supplied by work and just wanted one "because", I was going to oblige.
He's now denying that conversation and insisting he requested a 3D printer, which he saw at CeBIT last month; he's been carrying around a "printed" widget ever since and showing it to anybody that will look.
Naturally, as he can not come up with a single reason why he would need a 3D printer, he will not be getting one for his birthday.

Hmmmm...if you were going to oblige for his birthday, then surely material things are not what he should be wishing for?Kooky wrote:Neo is currently setting up his new HTC One X - which came as a bit of a surprise to me as I was previously advised that he'd like a new phone for his birthday next month (40th!) and, even though he has one supplied by work and just wanted one "because", I was going to oblige.

Re: My next phone....
I've just got the S3 too, after my old iphone finally died. Decided I couldn't wait and wouldn't pay for the new iphone 5, so I've taken the plunge to Android.
Takes a bit of getting used to after 5 years of only macs and iphones, but I like it a lot, especially since I've been making do with my creaking old 3GS.
The only thing that's driving me crazy is working out how to find and subscribe to podcasts. I've downloaded Google Listen, but its search function can't even find most of the podcasts I'm looking for, including some of the BBC's most popular ones. So I'm having to locate the rss address in iTunes, painstakingly type it into the phone and try to subscribe that way. Pain in the arse. There must be a less clunky way, but I haven't yet found it.
Otherwise, it's a smooth, slender piece of beauty. Not unlike myself.

There must be tons of apps on play store for podcasts. Just search on the store.cromasaig wrote:The only thing that's driving me crazy is working out how to find and subscribe to podcasts.
