Seriously. Was anyone under the impression that posh salt was any healthier?

We buy it because it tastes better.

It may be unhealthy by the bucket load but we need salt. When I lived in Saudi and was struck down with heat stroke on a couple of occasions, the first thing the doc gave me was salt tablets.
Prayer has no place in public schools. Just like facts have no place in organised religion.

But were they gourmet or Saxa, Spikey? :)

Salt, in moderation, like loads of other stuff is ok. And what would a tomato be without a light sprikle of salt, or rock/flake for the gourmands, eh?

My Dad took them regularly when he was working in the ME, Spikey.

I don't use salt and what a lot of people think is seasoned perfectly, I think is way too salty. However I get a lot of cramp and I get sunstroke way too easily to live in Australia, so I really should use a bit more. (I need extra iodine too.)

How are you feeling now, Spikey - I know you've been buggy.

Waiter at The French Laundry " This salt is 40 million years old".

Patron " Haven't you got anything fresher?"
