Looking for recommendations for a mid-priced hotel for rellies stopover for 2-3 nights - not budget but not 5 star. Somewhere with decent pool, close-ish to MRT would be good.

Cheers
Daff

Sorry, wouldn't really know. I've only ever stayed in hotels in Singapore about 3-4 times, and none recently. You can get from USD100/night up to USD400+, what's "mid-priced"? I found the V Bencoolen for USD109/night.

Anybody use this directrooms.com? Type in Singapore and browse, Daff, I see some good prices.

Naumi Liora is nice and affordable, but there's no pool. Right next to Raffles Hotel. http://www.naumiliora.com/default-en.html

Carlton Hotel was recently renovated and has a pool. Opoosite Chijmes. http://carltonhotel.sg/

I have found the Traders brand hotel good for moderate prices in Asia. Also been happy with Citadines hotel/apartments is Asia Pacific too for moderate.

Orchard Grand Court at junction of Killiney Road and Lloyd Road (nearest mrt - somerset).

Facilities: cafe, outdoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, car park, NTUC and Watsons at the ground floor.

Some of our business partners stay in this hotel when the other 5-4 stars ones are sold-out.
