The Darjeeling Limited ( saw it on the plane)
A quirky romp around India with three not unattractive boys. Very funny. Adrien Brody brilliant again.

I think it did, back in January, one of those shown in only some cinemas, lasts for about a week ones.

Blossom : I wondered that same thing. Sentosa somewhere perhaps

Made Singapore look all very nice. Everyone lives in nice old houses and spend their time in roads lined with shophouses

what? you're abandoning ship? :|

BoD: No worse than movies like Knotting Hill and Love Actually. Makes London look all clean and lovely and we can afford to live in the west end running a corner book shop? notice in love actually the only show the east end in the dark, and two houses ;)

Agree. It's all very surreal though. Don't think I spotted any HDB flats at all.

No, but they're chucking me out of my nice old house in December. ( While putting up the rent, b'stards) And future workspace looks more likely to be office towers than shop houses. Small production houses being hit by higher rents too, so moving to the suburbs etc. Stuff like that.

I'll be here though, nothing if not tenacious.

You might want to check out ther rents before you move. There are some hideously large ones out there. You might end up living in Pungil or somewhere if you want cheap!

Ah, that's only one side of the story. The other camp say higher rents are here to stay, there will be more enblock activity and house prices will continue to climb.
