Predators

Got around to watching Predators this weekend, and thought it was pretty good for the genre of movie it is.

I did hear a lot before the movie about how it was going to be equivalent to Predator as Aliens was to Alien. Well, they weren't far wrong.

The story: well, the opening scene is a man (Adrian Brody) falling in free fall whilst unconscious. He wakes up before the parachute opens, and falls into a jungle. Quickly others are found in a similar predicament, various soldiers, mercenaries, freedom fighters, gang members and a doctor. They soon realise they are on a alien world, and something is hunting them.

The movie has a turn or two in it, you find out why a doctor is in the group, and overall, it's a blood fest of the Predator kind.

If you like sci-fi, if you like a bit of blood and gore, then this movie will tick all the right boxes.
