Must see film of the year... I couldn't help myself and had to see it opening day, it is a very fitting conclusion to a masterful trilogy. They are doing it in Imax format so make your way to one of the big screens in Orchard rather than a standard cinema.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Still a bit shocked about the David Letterman spoiler alert, blurting out the big plot surprise on his talk show. What a dope!
A woman walked into a pub and asked the barman for a double entendre. So he gave it to her.

I just can't believe everyone else hasn't realised that Letterman is a dick either way.

Don't think anybody will be talking about Letterman today.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
We saw it today, absolutely fantastic, and yes J27, a perfect end to the trilogy.
My only criticism of the movie was with the soundtrack. The music track was louder than the voice track and it just irritated me. Having to really listen to hear what they said (and not just poor old Bane with his muffling mask) whilst the music was really loud. It wasn't just the theatre we were at either, it was the movie itself apparently as others have said the same.
If you liked the other two movies then you will like this one for sure, especially on a big screen.

Gold Class tonight... really looking forward to it.

That was epic. I really enjoyed it. Worth holding my pee for an hour.nev wrote:Gold Class tonight... really looking forward to it.
Bane's end was a little to swift, and I still think Christian Bale has a funny mouth, but all in all a great finale to the trilogy.
Re: The Dark Knight Rises
second time nearly fully read Nevs post, Spoiler alert needed for this one. There's just not enough in these movies generally to kill the plot even with the obvious stuff.

Bucking the trend here to say I didn't like this as much as the last movie. Found it too long, and dunno, just didn't get immersed in it, for whatever reason. That the cinema was bloody freezing had something to do with it.
Hathaway was pretty hot though.
