At first I thought it was going to be the same kind of food porn you get from the Food Network, but I was so wrong. Jiro Dreams of Sushi was a surprisingly profound and refreshing lesson in diligence, perseverance, honor and pride in what you do for a living. There are sushi shots, of course, but they were clearly not the focus of this documentary. Very well-edited and paced - I didn't realize it was 1 hour and 22 minutes long until it ended.
