I thought it was quite funny, all those grandpas beating each other silly. Chuck Norris must be the most pointless action hero ever. And who the heck cast the Chinese auntie in that completely redundant role?

Loved it. Arnie doing terminator jokes, Chuck Norris doing Chuck Norris jokes. Over the top gun battles, bombs, martial arts. Jean Claude Van Damme as a bad guy. Dolph as Dolph. Cheesy lines.

The sort of movie that you don't need to think to enjoy.

Well, I doubt that Arnie will be asked back for E3.

Damn that was a fun way to spend 102minutes - so cheesy and not for a minute did it takes itself too seriously. Sly is a mad bastard

Enjoyed, however, the copy I had had some major problems with the music. The voices were good, but the music all seemed out of tune. However, that could also be due to the Russian writing when they were telling you which city they were in. :D

Probably a stupid thing to say, but while I torrent tv shows and old movies, I don't new movies. Maybe not so stupid as someone I know in Singapore got contacted when downloading a movie that was still playing at the the cinemas.

I wont touch a film until its released in 7--mb BR DVD copy from the US. Once I can buy the films I like, I will, the others I will forget. TV is done on the day of release however copies of the season are purchased. This way I can assuage any guilt at a system of copy write laws so hopelessly behind the reality of the market today.

I think HBO make such fantastic TV and get to watch when I want without complication, I buy the series. If it is not profitable for them, then it diminishes chances for more good entertainment. Just accept that as a consumer and part of economy. I prefer good series to film for the most part. And there are now good rental options for most common films. And then on occasion, I want the cinema experience too.

Music is the industry that I still don't think has the balance quite right.

That's one way, at least you have a system of sorts. For movies, what do you reckon that lag is?

The US will generally get a film from initial launch to blue ray in a month or two so its not too bad. Cinema in Australia is just too damn expensive - normal move is $17 Aussie. I miss the $6.5o DBS special :(

Same here.. S$20 for a basic ticket. extra if it is one of the better screens and even more for 3D. Add in the parking that can easily cost S$16, and going to a movie get expensive

Come to think of it.. I don't think I've ever been to a movie in the UK  Tickets here are 6 EUR (special days) or 7 - 9 on regular days.

That's the reason I count myself lucky to be able to go during the week to morning sessions when it is only about $11 AUD to go, parking is free and the cinema is quiet too. Bliss.
