don't ever bother

The Devil Inside Me

Terrible flick, just turned it off after 26min. Turned into David Stratton with a hate for the wobbly hand held camera trying to achieve doco effect. Acting is shit too. That's an experiment from the $3.50 Oovie machine to forget!!!

Is Thor any good? Only action left in machine haven't watched that caught eye.

Nuh, sounds like its not a goer, if I want to watch shirts off I'll go see that man stipper one with Mathew McConaughey. Plus that dude still looks too much like his soapy character.

Oh another TOO MISS, Blitz with Jason Stratham. The WORST dialogue ever, and the bits of action were pretty poor and the main villan pathetic. I watched to the end cause I lived in hope the ending would prove itself.....it did not!

I've worked my way through anything decent on my new favourite machine in the wall bargain point, now waiting for my TV serials to arrive in the post: True Blood SIII, Damages SIV, Walking Dead S2, Boardwalk Empire S2, Madmen S5 - several of these on preorder so waiting waiting...

Speaking of Jason Statham....by mistake got the movie Safe instead of Safe House. Zzzzzzzzzz.

Enjoyed Thor but it's a movie you just don't think about. It's really a prequel to Avengers so you can guess where it's going.

Yet to find a Jason Statham movie I liked (outside of Guy Ritchie movies).

agree with FB: Thor has to be seen as one of the prequels to Avengers.

as action movies go, i've seen better, but also worse. our 6 year old likes it...

OK well its sounding better than the dross I got on weekend, and I've taken to cleaning that machine out instead of watching the greater dross that is free to air at the moment.

There are two recent Statham movies that IMO were pretty good: Killer Elite (NOT a remake of the 80's James Caan effort) and Safe.

Didn't mind Killer Elite.

Watching Battleship. Not hating it, and after last few duds thinking well OK by comparison!

Thor is better than Battleship.

Got 2 for price one, but got long call in middle, so just started Thor, probably asleep in half an hour :) I thought Battleship wasn't too bad actually, the concept/design around the aliens was pretty good, and whilst that ship towards end bemusing and silly, thought plot was reasonably clear towards end. I like ACDC as sound tracks haha. It was a cheesy, popcorn thing, they have a place, am sufficiently balanced out by indie drama flicks too :)

Preferred BShip. When saw Keneth Branaugh directed Thor, that made a lot of sense. But Yeah, Thor was nicely cut ...
