Good vegetarian Indian restaurant

Post by Beesknees » 24th Mar, '10, 22:24

Even Mr B, who is definately not a vegetarian, likes this place. Bombay Woodlands at B1-12 Tanglin Shopping Centre. It's downstairs and close to that shop where the fish are eating peoples' feet (The spa place)
Very reasonably priced, quiet, small and great food. Their buffet is, I think, about $18.

:D I thought you were going to ask for recommendations and was going to say, if it's still there there's a great one in Tanglin SC called...Neo is a carnivore and liked it, too. (I eat meat, but not a lot.)

Have I given you this link yet? http://www.happycow.net/asia/singapore/

There's one on Biopolis, the Raj, which is pretty good too

thank goodness it's a vegetarian restaurant, otherwise people might wonder if the foot-eating-fish shop next door was supplying the restaurant's kitchen :P

did you try the foot spa, BeesKnees?

No FB - although i'm sure they would have had a good feed from my feet. I think it would be too tickly.

Pfft!

If God wanted us to be vegetarians, he wouldn't have invented Steak Tartare.

God invented restaurants (of all types) because Her husband would never do his share of the bloody cooking.

I had steak last night. I hardly ever eat steak but Neo sprang a surprise dinner on me at a rather fancy establishment (just had to live with the tie-dye maxidress and birkenstocks [smilie=rotflmao.gif] ) and the wagyu dish sounded particularly nice.

Please don't tell him that the $7.90 beef rendang I just had in the food court actually pleased me more. ;)
