Ku De Ta

Got an invite to try kudeta tonight - view great - service ok - menu? - slightly pretensious - taste? Average bordering on shite.

For the amount spent we could have gone to jumbo and had a feast - instead we get a burnt overbooked piece if salmon for $38. Crap value - though nice to see there is lots of monet floating about

Are the still trying to mix western food with Chinese food serving methods? Ie, you order a number of dishes to share that turn up at entirely random times

YES - the menu mentions sharing but in reality the food came over a half hour period - and in keeping with theme we tried each others dishes which made the experience worse because nothing was fantastic.

Oh and given the over 1k price without alcohol
(well 1 beer), it is a total waste
