Forlino Father's Day Promotion

Post by qiaoqiao » 7th Jun, '11, 12:20

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if any of you been to Forlino before?

Noticed on their website (www.forlino.com) that they are offering a father's day promo and was thinking of bringing my dad there.

Only been to their other restaurant (il Lido), and the experience there was good so i am swayed to going back there. but then again, feel like i wna try a different place this time round.

would appreciate reviews of the place! thanks x10! [smilie=kiss.gif]

I've been there twice. Once with the original Chef and once after he left.

The first time made me want to go back again.

The second time didn';t.
So…if you wish to wish a wish, you may swish for fish with my Ish wish dish.

A woman walked into a pub and asked the barman for a double entendre. So he gave it to her.

I concur entirely with my learned friend. The first time was good and the second - with new chef- was not

Keeping up with the Forlino family is hard. They went from Forlino to Osvaldo (which is still good) and then sold out to open No Menu ( presumably having run out of names)

Huh?what do you mean by open No menu?
I went there for the first time using a voucher last month. Ambience is definitely good so worth the money spent. Food wise, not bad too.. Worth trying la..

Hey qiaoqiao. did you really create a new login as crazykid just to post that ?

But to your post, I agree in part. If you went on a voucher (i.e. didn't have to pay), then yes, it would have been money well spent.

Food wise good ? Well, if you consider Pizza Hut a "good" pizza then I guess Forlino's is "good" italian.

Many better Italian restaurants in Singapore than Forlinos.

I'm really glad you see this our way, Singapore Girl. It's the joining up just to drop lame fake 'recommendations' of restaurants that sticks in the craw, doesn't it? So obvious, so sad.
