Post Editing

Just to clarify how/when the Post Edit tracking appears in posts on this Forum.

If no one has replied to a post, the author is able to edit it without the edit information being displayed. If a post has been replied too, there will be a "Last Edit:" line at the bottom of the post with the relevant details. If you want to include a reason for your edit, you can do so at the bottom of the post page when editing.

There is an option to lock out editing after a pre-determined time, i.e. 60mins after a post has been created. we haven't turned this feature on and see no reason to do so at the moment.

Last note to Forum Moderators. Your edits will never show a "Last Edit:" line unless you manually select the check box to do so when editing your post. I am trying to change that but it will take some time to find and implement that hack. Until then, please remember to check the Edit box.
