Much like our beloved Nigel, the sewing circle is no longer in action. The Singapore Forum will be kept up so the wealth of information collected over the years can still be found and used, but there won't be anything new.

Thanks to everyone that made The Singapore Forum, in all it's guises, a fun, informative and comfortable place to hang out while dodging work.

What we actually need is a sort of waggling fishing rod that only appears once the actual fish is hooked. It should also be graded for the standard of bait used, obviously artificial lures require much more skill than live bait.

I think first two....first one for "Gone fishing" second one for "HOOKED, LINE AND SINKER!"

But you can't put the gone fishing thing into the first post otherwise your intended prey will see it and avoid the bait. And you can't put it in afterward since it looks like you've been caught out and only say gone fishing after the event, which makes you look like an idiot. You need one that you can put into your first post and have it linked to your intended prey. It then remains hidden until the intended prey bites (say within 24 hours). After that everyone can see how clever you've been.

[smilie=bananen_smilies028.gif] When did this one turn up in the smiley list? And what is it? An epileptic potato?
