WTS: Pool table and wardrobe

Post by Fat Bob » 7th Dec, '10, 13:50

I have a 8ft pool table that unfortunately has to go. Slate bed, good nick, probably needs a new baze and one cushion needs replacing (can probably be done during the move). I have the name of the movers, three years ago it cost $600 to move, don't know now. Comes with cues, rest, wall holder for cues, balls and triangle. I'll even throw in the chalk!

IT's the Crown Pool table in this list

Cost to sell: $750 ono (plus movement fee at purchaser's expense: I would seriously suggest a professional movers!)

(New table I think is $2200)

I also have a big Ikea wardrobe (will confirm dimensions tonight).Colour is light brown wood finish (I think they call it Pine, but pine is not a colour in my view!) Originally came in flat-pack, and will need minor dismantling for the move. I think it's the Pax Malm range, I can confirm as I still have original warranty and other details. Cost new was $2000, will be willing to sell for $750 ono (plus movement fee at purchaser's expense)

Pictures to come.

edit - change size of pool table

Who would want to buy a closet that he had just come out of?

Maybe the pool table has too much memories and the new woman (or man) wants it out of the house?

OK, back to the real life now:

Pool table measures 8ft x 5ft, and looks like this:

Nah, decent camera was lost so relying on a phone camera. They are crap pictures for anything more than 50cm away. Flash is not the word I'd use for the little pop of light that comes on.

Do you still live down the road from me? The movers are coming in to pack up my house on Wednesday, maybe I should get them to go a few blocks more and pick up the pool table ...

Yup, I do. I would suggest you get the original company to move it, they will set it up correctly. But hey, that's up to you if you give me the money!

Did you mean to post that pic of you and the chicken?
