Hey FB,
The Rose Bowl in Pasadena - its the one that was streamed live on Youtube about a year ago. Awesome concert, just under a hundred thousand at it also I think.
I saw them in Melbourne & they were unbelievable. Had forgotten how good they are live.

I'm happy that I qualified as a wheelchair driver this morning and then wheeled some peeps to the cinema and lunch.

Cheers Snaff, might acquire that.

I'm happy today as I've just hooked up my under-TV pc with a HDMI cable rather than a DVI-to-VGA cable and the picture is just so
much better (proper resolution settings are availble, shows now fit the screen correctly etc).

Cool or what?

And spike: someone has to say it so I may as well: you need a license to drive a wheelchair? Well I never!

Well I did the training but didn't actually get a certificate. There's an art to getting up and down steep inclines and high curbs without ejecting your hapless passenger.

If the ramp that used to be in the Orchard Hotel is still there, and still as steep, there's an art to getting a wheelchair up and down there without having a heart attack. FFS - if you're going to go to the trouble of putting one in, make sure it's useable!

Oh and a little tip about trying to push one up the travelator in Carrefour. Don't [smilie=rotflmao.gif]

Fugger should be shot along with the rest of BAA. They can't even update their website properly.

I'm happy that even though I and my significant other are stranded in London because of some snow, we've managed to find a warm and fairly cheap hotel. I'm not happy about not being able to get a straight answer from ANYONE about what's going to happen next.

Today I'm happy to be stranded in Singapore and not Cyprus, even if it is with a suitcase full on Winter clothes :)

Today I'm happy I received my Xmas present early and could take decent shots of my pool table and wardrobe for sale.

I'm happy that the snow chaos, flu, a messed up train schedule and crappy Swedish car electrics mean that I don't have to go to Holland this week and can turn round halfway

I have no idea why I am happy this morning, just am. It will last probably until a crazy guest makes me want to chew my own ears off, but so far so good!

Amazon arrived! Yay, last of the deliveries!

I've picked up "The Rational Optimist" and "Why the West Rules - For Now" and pleased to say the seem highly readable to me in my brief scans so may have actually got the selection right for daddy dearest to ponder over his whiskey.

I'm happy today because it's the last day of normality for the next 2 weeks. A household with 4 kids under the age of 4 for 2 weeks over Christmas is bound to age me by a year or 3.
So…if you wish to wish a wish, you may swish for fish with my Ish wish dish.

Well I'm fuggin' delighted that we finally made it back to Singapore after been stranded in Heathrow since Saturday evening. We were lucky enough to get into a hotel for two nights and then somehow managed to get transferred onto a flight today that was due to depart at 10.55 but instead departed around 1pm. It is just complete chaos there. We got the transfers only by continually queuing and asking questions. The airline advice to call them for latest updates before going to the airport was completely useless. The so-called help lines (when you could get through) knew less than we did. And for Heathrow to simply leave passengers to their own devices is unacceptable. It's like a refugee camp there. This really shows that we as a civilization are only a few snow showers away from disaster.

There's Pure Blonde in the fridge and an invite over for all over the age of 21.

Girls, rememebr, it's a pool party, bring your bikinis.

I'm just so happy I'm in Sydney today. Very simple thing really. I am just so darn pleased it's not me on the news in one of these cold places trying to get home, or rained out flooded places. Just feel really lucky and happy about it today.
