Just thought I'd revive this thread. In less than 2 weeks time I'm off diving to Komodo - there be dragons there!
However, over the last month my knee has been a bit weak after tweaking it further in a futsal match. Rested it for a couple of weeks and am now doing some swimming and leg exercises to strengthen it. Both are going well: one Sunday/Monday I could do 2-4 lengths prior to just floundering around in the pool like a big splashy thing, last night I completed my first 300m non-stop, perfect tumble turns most the way through, followed up with two further 300m. This morning, another 400m swam.
The endorphins are being released, my arms are toning up, I'm think about what I'm eating and altogether it's a feeling that I'm going to be so much better prepared for the dive trip.
