What have you done for someone this year?

Post by Fat Bob » 19th Dec, '10, 10:25

As it's coming up to Xmas (can't you feel the nights drawing in, hear the sleigh bells ringing?) then I thought I'd start this one off to reflect on what we've done for others this year. It was inspired by Spike who left this message on the other thread:

Well, I've given a few books to NUH Library for people to read whilst in hospital. I'm extending this to sponsoring a weekly/monthly edition of Nat Geo and Time for a year.

I'm also trying to organise a visit to an orphanage on my next rugby/hockey tour, and hopefully get the company involved (as we make toothpaste, toothbrushes, Ribena etc). If that comes off then I'll shout, and....well, not sure what to expect but let's see when it happens!
