Coming of Age Day!
If you are Japanese and have turned 20 in the last year, then congratulations, and welcome to adulthood.

My favorite day of the year in Japan. 20yo Japanese girls all dressed in kimonos everywhere.
So…if you wish to wish a wish, you may swish for fish with my Ish wish dish.

Acording to wiki, they are in furisodes, which have batwings on.
Must say, out of all the stereotypical thoughts you could have about a certain culture, Japanese 20 year olds in kimonos/furisodes is not the one that sticks out in my mind!

I'm in Tokyo today and there are hordes of them everywhere. Very colorful and beautiful.

Oh! We just got back from there last night. Saw lots of costumes in Shibuya but no Furisodes.
I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book. Groucho Marx
