Nice photo. Is it one you took?

Should the photo be your own work, or will any photo do?

Yes this is mine ..... My idea was a photo you have personally taken but can just be snap taken on your mobile phone camera, ixus or any camera

Something funny something unusual something you want to share ...

That photo is fantastic, EPY! I have to ask about the brilliant, beautiful colors though - is there any enhancement? Very cool!!

Unless it's for medical purposes, I believe that is illegal in Singapore

and you've outted yourself in the process  some lovely photos on your flickr link. Not sure my snaps are quite, ahem, in the same league.

So is the idea for everyone to post 1 photo each OR for just 1 person to post 1 photo each week?

FM... taken by a canon EOS 450D and tamron 10-22mm wide angle lens ..

My point about phones was that the picture can come from any source I doesnt have to be taken with a tripod big camera etc....

Some of your camera phone snaps could be pretty interesting I suspect

It's a view of the Harbour Bridge and Luna Park from some nearby apartments during the Red Dawn. Only slightly doctored.

Here's one - quiet life in suburbia ... This is my Toona tree (toona sinensis) with the new growth. The leaves started bright pink, then turned into buttery gold and now into limey green. Taken on the 6th this month, so a bit outside of the prescribed date range, epy.

Kook, the wind has apparently whipped up more dust coming your way ... (it may have reached SYD and now on its way to BNE again?). Even the soil doesn't want to stay in SA. :D

I thought it was the Harbour Bridge but was slightly confused by what looks like the Petronas twin towers in the bottom right hand corner

K, that photo of Godzilla over Sydney Harbour Bridge is a classic!

BoD, try panning your camera when you shoot - the trick is to freeze the car and the background motion blurred.

I think he tried to do that. Take the approx. speed of the car and make that your shutter speed. Street circuits are rubbish for amateur photographers as you are behind fences most of the time and without a press accreditation you dont get to the good spots

The background on that shot is somewhat blurred and the car is somewhat sharp..

Yes, the fence is a big problem. You have to turn the autofocus off and pre focus on a certain point. Believe me, I tried panning, not panning and a variety of shutter speeds.
