Addadude, that's ALARMING! :(
A woman walked into a pub and asked the barman for a double entendre. So he gave it to her.

Addadude those pics are very scary. No one should be out in that. If something isn't really done this time around those in government should be in huge trouble. They have been talking about it for way too long and still it just happens every year and now look at this.

I am not in Singapore right now and I see that it is magically improving by the hour. How is the air really?

TB, it does go up and down. The pics you see are all at its worst. This afternoon it cleared up to about PSI 145, which is in the middle of the "unhealthy" range, but was remarkably better than just 4 hours earlier - visibility, smell, etc. But The 2.5 reading is the killer - those are the micro particles that aren't measured by the PSI. This site here I think is adjusted to show the smaller particles. It show a much grimmer picture than the PSI.

I'm glad the family are out of Singapore. Where can I get masks for cats ?

I see that Brewerkz opened their alfresco seating today as things have improved. That's a good sign. Hope things clear up for you all. We are coming to Singapore in September for a visit so I certainly hope it is better by then.
I guess we're not in Kansas anymore.

I see what you did there, the haze banner. Also see you've taken it down. Fingers crossed.

Thank you Lili - I have to make up my mind if to stay one week longer in Europe - one week is a long time in the office and short time for haze to improve.
It's good it's around 100 now, but the 2.5 thingie reading is not great right?

Anyone know where I can get N95 masks online? I just ordered a 10-pack on eBay but paid through the nose for them. The 3M 8511 Series Respirator looks favourite according to reviews. They're available on Amazon.com at a reasonable price but they won't ship them to Singapore. Bastards! Don't they realise what an opportunity they're missing. [banghead.gif]

Use borderlinx to ship them here.

Bought mind at Unity yesterday, 10 for $22.50, long queue. Call first to see if they still have them.

Today is quite nice, though it probably won't last.

The idiotic rants on Facebook are making it <almost> all worth it. Some people really don't understand how things work.

Thanks Baloo. Looks like borderlinx might be easier and cheaper than the likes of Vpost.
