I thought I might go with the numerical sequence.

I just slopped through the pouring rain to get my EP renewal over to the Ministry of Manpower at 19 Havelock Road. At the door to the building I had the following conversation with the security guard.

Guard: Sorry, no one is allowed entry.

Me: I'm here to drop off my renewal forms, I'm to deliver them here.

Guard: But I can't permit you to enter.

Me: So, how do I drop them off?

Guard: You must send them here. (hands me a slip of paper that looks like it came out of a fortune cookie. It says: 19 Havelock Road)

Me: This says 19 Havelock Road.

Guard: Yes.

Me: This is 19 Havelock Road.

Guard: Yes.

And so it goes... [smilie=23_3.gif]

Yeah, still pending. I attached a letter to my EP renewal to tell them that I have a PR application that's been pending since the ice age in the hopes someone might have the initiative to call up ICA and light a fire. I won't hold my breath, though.
