I just like the sentiments echoed in this attachment

"truth is a group of metaphors, metonyms, and anthropomorphisms; a sum of human relation which is poetically and rhetorically intensified, metamorphosed and adored so that after a long time it is then codified in the binding canon."

ah... Brecht, lifelong Marxist and avantgardist. of course he would say that...
“people are taken much too seriously. one equals no one. anything less than two hundred at a time is not worth mentioning. of course, anybody can be of a different opinion. an opinion is of no consequence whatever. any level-headed man can level headedly adopt two or three different opinions.”

Ah...the commies are out in force those days in Frankfurt. What is actually their solution to the issues they are protesting against? Just eliminate all banks or go back to fixed term deposits and housing loans?

Solutions are very difficult to come up with when we keep going back to the same tool box - the system however is broken, we are waiting for the Greeks to be kicked out of the Euro and to see if that constitutes the start of the dominoes falling across the rest of Europe. At this stage it would seem that the Euro is headed towards a major readjustment so perhaps it is time to take another look at the tools we use and re-examine the system. Of course that doesn't mean we want to look towards Marxist solutions though we do need to move beyond the free market as the savior

And that's exactly the problem I have with those people. It's easy to be against something but to be taken serious you should come up with what you want instead

True Dat... Very easy to criticize bloody tough to offer alternative that is as conducive to solving problems. Plus this is Europe not the US - in the US you can at least cite how the state isn't looking after the populace and has allowed the 1% to accumulate wealth at the expense of the rest of population - in Europe they are broke in part because they are too generous. The average Asian punter must be wondering what the hell is happening - white persons demands are very different. When Asia fucked up back in 1997 - they were left to swallow a very bitter pill and took years to get out of it - the bloke on the street paid for the greed of his master - Europeans are not so meek and mild
