Getting to know more about lawyers

Post by pal3 » 25th May, '12, 15:21

I'm a design student working on a project to design a website (online supermarket) for lawyers' convenience. In order to do so I will need to understand how a lawyer's life is really like and i need help to understand them.

I will need to know things like what do you exactly do everyday. How often do you go to the supermarket and what do you usually buy. Do you really concern about the price of the product? A detailed answer will be much appreciated.

Please help me, I will sincerely appreciate it. Thank you.

Are lawyers' shopping habits different?

The only lawyer I know who frequents this board fills her trolley with gin.......

Lawyers are very busy with their schedule, thus do they visit the supermarket often or they buy ready made food? Do you all have any idea how lawyer spend their life everyday?

I don't think gin is exclusive to lawyers - oooh look at that - it's gin o'clock!
Remember, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but backwards and in high heels.

That's what I was thinking. Not sure that lawyers are always busier than other full-time workers in whatever profession you care to name.

I know there will be some lawyers that are very free however some are extremely busy. Therefore, I'm doing a survey on the items that lawyer that are busy might buy from supermarket. Cos i don't have any lawyer friends to ask so i don't really understand their lifestyle and habit.

To the OP, anytime you say "lawyer" you could insert the word "busy professional". There is absolutely no distinction or anything unique about the legal field that would affect shopping habits or, in turn, require a specialized shopping website any more than for doctors, airline pilots, taxi drivers or whatever.

Lawyers think about everthing very rationally. They tend to have high value notions of "truth" and "justice," are rights-oriented. Lawyers tend toward social isolation when experiencing personal distress and show significantly more incidents of alcohol abuse and depression then the general public. They are very busy people hence give little and only necessary time to shopping. They are social but mostly prefer their own common social circles
