no worries, but i'm not sure reverse osmosis will do the trick. i thought you need an alumina filter to filter out fluoride ions. can't find the size of fluoride ions, but reverse osmosis membranes only get ions larger than 1 Ångstrom, IIRC.
Obviously anything smaller than a water molecule will get through. But surely fluoride is added in the form of some kind of salt. FB'll know.

The cup attachment that comes with stick blenders is ideal for spice mincing.

Do you mean one of these, Burb? http://www.braun.com/na/products/fooddr ... r5000.html

I have one. Used it for the first time the other week for my pesto. :)

edit: did you just add that or am I even more senile than I thought?

The pots you've had up until your first set of stainless steel ones weren't aluminium, were they?

Bender, if you're going to make any more posts about kitchen items then you should add an L to your username.

Saw them also at Holland V Gaurdian but again, ages ago!

Why not just get a water supplier? $500 for 50 19L bottles and no rental on the dispenser. Several options, I use PereOcean. Choice of distilled or mineral water.

OK, maybe not the same cost in Oz but hey, that's Oz for you!
