Worth a chuckle
Garfield minus Garfield
Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolor disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against lonliness in a quiet American suburb.
So…if you wish to wish a wish, you may swish for fish with my Ish wish dish.

I was really annoyed when they bought out the movie.
Garfield does NOT sound like Tom Hanks...

I miss my goldie girl, the neighbours cat
she moved up north with her owner, we had a routine

I know someone who'll be travelling to Sydney with 3 cats. Knowing the size of apartments there and the fact local councils have a bylaw that requires all cats to be kept locked up inside at night, they might be willing to loan one to you.

Why do they have that law? Is it to stop Wobblies and suchlike getting killed?

Yeah, native fauna is being wiped out thanks to cats. Quite an infestation of ferals cats in Australia too.
It's more the smaller fauna that's a worry. The Wallabies are safe except for the odd springbok or kiwi that might trample all over them.

Why, when I read those Garfield minus Garfield cartoons, did I think of Burbage?
