I try to take one day at a time but sometimes several days attack me at once!

The contract process as mentioned was pretty long (took about 30 mins per person). Some articles mentioned that it was because Apple wanted to dictate the process as well. After the phone's activated, honestly the experience has been fun - the phone is easy to use, very intuitive, and as customisable as you like. There is an application called 'Installer' that you can download that enables the phone to host any iPhone ready application - there's even a retro-type phone dialler (complete with the sound and motion), if you want. If you want to keep your phone kosher, you can install the applications in App Store - the process is also very smooth - I've installed myself a free foreign exchange application in preparation for my trip. I've also installed a free Facebook app, that could upload pictures that I take directly to my profile.

The pinch-in, pinch-out, slide motion on the screen are also very smooth - one minor gripe is that the screen is full of finger smudges after a while. I have put a screen protector and a case protector to keep it in tiptop shape.

Yeah, the iPhone doesn't support MMS on its native apps, and does not record video - however, I'm convinced that somebody will create apps that would enable to phone to do that. The camera is also only 2MP - but, at the end of the day because the phone is choc-a-block with features and potentials, I easily ignore that. It's a jack-of-all-trades kinda phone. The specs may not win it any award but the experience so far has been GREAT! :)

No, I don't have a brick, I've got a sexy phone ;)

He's way too busy playing with his phone.

We went to the Apple Store today. Hell on Earth. People queueing round the block and over-enthusiastic sales assistants saying things like, "that's what Ahhm talkin about!". Seriously, I couldn't cope.

You didn't flee to the most obvious escape route, The Strand Arcade, just across the road? :D

It sounds very cool, but the burning question is...

Well so far so good, although not planning to blend it!

Still finding interesting apps on the store, and learning to type a different way.

Getting my work mail on it.

The features so far i'm finding fun although not really used the phone or sms, which i guess i will have to compare as well.

So thumbs up from me. [smilie=w00t.gif]

Haha - have used it for phone and sms. SMS takes a bit of getting used to - I didn't use a smartphone prior to this, so typing it using a QWERTY keyboard takes a bit of time. The screen's sensitivity is good so I don't press the wrong character too often. Phone reception and voice quality's pretty good as well. :)

I mentioned earlier that it's the jack-of-all-trades kinda phone - fun to use, packed with features that are great to have, and the modularity to add/modify with the applications that you desire, but I don't think that its specs are the best. If Apple equips iPhone with the best specs, and with the same fun experience, the iPhone would probably look like a real brick. :) Thumbs up from me too (8.5 / 10).
