Re: BitTorrent Client
Found azureus very heavy on resources, utorrent seems to handle it much better. Azurues I found had to stop it, reboot pc and start it again once in a while. uTorrent I can just leave on (and on and on) if I want to.

Re: BitTorrent Client
No problems with Azureus although it keeps moaning about a port being already in use (and it's not but haven't investigated so far)

Re: BitTorrent Client
maybe I wasn't using Azureus correctly but I found searching on uTorrent easier

Re: BitTorrent Client
I used Azureus, then realised it was a memory hog. Found uTorrent. Smaller, just easy so stayed with that.

Like i said, Azureus is for power users. If you want something simple, utorrent is for you.
I'd like to see you try and implement a BT client via command line baloo.

Re: BitTorrent Client
you mean you don't just write a client in machine code (in hex) each time you want to use one? Amateurs!

You must work for a bloatware company. Every geek knows smaller code is better code.BFG wrote:My code is bigger (smaller) than your code.....

That's why I put "smaller" in brackets.

Every geek knows it's not the size of the code but rather the repetitions in the loop that bring most joy
