I've managed to talk him out of buying one for about five years now, so I'm sure I can manage to influence the size of the purchase when it does happen. Anyway, if we're not buying this one, there's absolutely no rush.

It's all a matter of getting used to it. Our 46" is in a tiny room at the moment, it will no doubt look lost when we put it somewhere bigger, it's all relative.
