Actually, with the RF capabilities of this remote I could control everything from outside.

Looks like it's got the features that the Harmony One hasn't got. 4 coloured buttons, RF control for behind cabinet doors etc.

Nice, but will wait a while before getting it. It's USD400 at amazon at the mo.

Which means SGD800 in the shops here when it comes out.

It's a Harmony One with colored buttons (which I've never noticed not having on the One), smaller back and mute buttons (which I would notice especially back button) with RF to IR adapter support included (the One is one of the few Harmony remotes NOT compatible with Logitech's existing RF to IR adapters).

What a joke on Logitech's part. Intentionally crippling the One so they could release a new version soon after and up the price.

Being a proud owner of the Harmony One... the battery sucks and so does the config tool (although you only need it once or twice)

Battery sucks? Is it really hard to put it down on the charging station when it gets low?

Config tool however I totally agree with. FFS give us a locally cached version that only updates the server when you tell it too (ie. on update of the remote might be an ideal time). The current design is just plain stupid. Takes at least a full day to configure any decent home theatre system and most of that time is spent waiting on the website to complete each operation.

No, that's easy but the batt life is quite short now after only a year or so

Mine still going strong... perhaps you got a dud battery. I need to charge it about once a week and it gets used often!
