Yes but setting a default of 1080p would be insane.

Edit:
Maybe something useful here: http://www.avforums.com/forums/home-cin ... -back.html

Pretty bad that it doesn't have onboard IR.

true, and FB seems to be getting no picture at all. which could indicate his HDMI port isn't working.

I am so tempted to buy the latest 1080p Pioneer Kuro II. Easily the best plasma ever made and may go down in history as such seeing as the current market is (sadly) all about price over quality.

Oh, managed to get the HDMI working somewhat, then it started going a bit mad later on, so not sure. And yes, TV only goes up to 1080i. Have got a DVI-to-VGA adaptor, so will try that out tonight. Leave the HDMI for the Xbox360.

Also bought the Dinovo Mini Keyboard as well. Showed people at work. One chick says "how are my fat fingers going to use that?" She got slapped. For those interested $250 at PK computer in Funan. Amazon is cheaper if you can wait for the shipping.

Oh, I think once it's working it'll be flash indeed. Just ironing out the problems.

I got my Dinovo mini from Bender's great Shopping Square site when it was on sale. I paid $189 (Oz) including delivery to Singapore.

Will be interested to see if you have the same problems that I (and many others) have.

It's working. Yay!!!

Well, there's a hell of a lot of bloatware on it, Dell Dock, Windows Sidebar etc etc....time to remove those.

Little keyboard is cool indeed!

Sidebar is anything but bloatware.

Whaddya mean - the Vista sidebar is a resource hog. Looks nice though, but I stopped running it.

It's on a list of things I don't need. Like a pretty free desktop so that only programs I use are on there. I also like 2 monitors, but that's only at work!

I'd hardly call it a hog and the resources it uses totally depend on the gadgets you chose to run.

It's using resources, it's not useful to me and my pc that'll be showing movies and downloading things. Therefore it's a desktop hog if nothing else.

Right, after a weekend of use, first impressions: Windows Media Centre is pretty good, easy to use, flips around nicely between things. Had a minor issue with time it took to load things but a reboot sorted that (probably forgot after an install of something).

Logitech Dinovo Mini - very good, not had an issue yet, always linking up, power save good, and looks good. Got it for $250 at PK Computer in the Funan, much more expensive at Challenger.

Still having trouble finding a remote control, plenty on amazon, loads of blank faces everywhere I look in Singapore. Will try again if I manage to get out this weekend. Ot might just keep using the Dinovo mini.

Using it on a regular basis, and finding it very good. Not had the issues that others seems to have (repeatedly dropping out and have to re-connect regularly.) So happy as a pig in muck with it.

After a remote for WMC? I've been told this works great. Bonus: it's cheap. Might buy one. Thinking of getting one of these too.
