Microsoft word question

Post by expat yorkshire » 4th Sep, '09, 15:19

When click file open is there any way to have a list of your favourite folders in the dialog box on the left side rather than just my documents my network etc .

Many thanks in advance

I'm not a fan of the Office 2007 suite at all. I installed a few months ago, and I'm still slower that on the previous version for the basic stuff. I know poxy Microsoft change stuff for the sake of it, but this is ridiculous.

Just drag a folder into the Favorite Links section and it will add it to your favorites!

This works in windows explorer as well.

Edit: You can delete favorites (right click, remove link) and reorder them by drag and drop.

I got a copy of 2007 for my desktop when I was job hunting but my place is ten years behind so I didn't bother to learn to use it. If I switch on my desktop to do something, which is a rare thing these days, it takes me ages.

I'm sure you soon get used to it.

Yes, we don't want to see Germans with powerful devices, they start thinking that they can invade Poland.

And what's wrong with that? Most Polish people are either in the UK or Germany anyway [smilie=tease.gif]
