Use ebay. This is far too specialised for a newbie to have a hope of selling.

Oh I don't know.I'm somewhat inclined to buy it just because it sounds so brilliant. Though to be fair, i'm not sure I feel the need for a 100mm shaft displacement

Does this mean I can't use this site to market a slightly-used 1988 Flux Capacitor?

I'm not sure you'd find a buyer. Everyone knows that the original 1985 FLux Capacitors are what you need. The 1988 ones were mass produced in a sweatshop in Timbuktu, and basically had a lifetime of 2-3 years. If you could prove yours is working, then maybe you'd get a buyer, but don't hold your breath.
