Can any ice hockey fan explain this ? What's the reason for the two guys to just start a fight, casually, at the first Face Off ?
Love the fight, just dont understand the reason behind it.

Its stupid. Why does this "sport" continue to allow this crap. Sure it sells but its not allowed in any other sport without serious ramifications.

It only happens in NHL anyway...and it is what wrecks it for me.
I watch the Europeans play, much more enjoyable and they get well and truly punished if there is a fight in those games.
