What would make...

Post by Kooky » 21st Jul, '09, 04:58

...Han maniacally lick the door of a tibetan cabinet? There's no strong smell, there's no sap coming out of it (it's ancient), there is no food or smelly stuff kept in it, and I'm worried that he's going to poison himself with all that paint.

What nutrient could he be missing that he can get from licking a wooden door? Or has he just finally lost the plot? :?

Cats can be a bit habit forming. Try a distraction of some kind, the old butter on the paws maybe.

Put a tray of water on the floor where he sits when he licks it.

If he doesn't do it for a few days it might break him out of it. He might be getting a high off the varnish or something. How about putting some catnip next to it?

Maybe he's dreaming of that tasty bird in the garden?
A woman walked into a pub and asked the barman for a double entendre. So he gave it to her.

Remember, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but backwards and in high heels.

Wrap tin foil around it? I hear cats hate foil!

(Not sure where I hear it though!)

Now that's just cruel. S'not as if there's much eating on one, anyway.

Do we have a fainting banana? :?

Tin foil. Yes we tried that on kitchen drawer handles when Bo and Han were so small they climbed up them. They ate it off.

We're witnessing all sorts of strange and manic behaviour since we stopped letting them out, unfortunately. Bo stands on her hind legs scratching away at the patio doors for hours, stopping only when I get up and walk towards her, but not stopping for long.
