Bread Premix in Singapore?

I know you can buy breadmakers in Singapore, but can you buy bread premix like these and these (btw, the Lighthouse Crusty Ancient Grain Bread Mix is awesome) in Singapore?

Reason I'm asking is we'll be bringing a breadmaker to give away when we're next there and I cannot remember if you can buy premix in ordinary supermarkets like Giant/Fairprice, etc.

Can someone check for me next time you're at the supermarket please? I'm guessing that if they have it, it'll be in the same aisle as flour. Thanks!

Not seen those ones, but you can certainly buy Wrights pre-mix in Cold Storage (cos I have, back in the days when I ate bread).

I used pre-mixes a bit at the start until I found a wholewheat recipe that we liked (very easy once you get the right recipe). I used to use the breadmaker daily till I started the diet as it's easier than driving across Singapore to buy decent bread. If I could learn butchery I could stop spending hours getting decent steak too.

I don't think "buying ingredients in bulk and baking from scratch" is a reference to premix.

Re decent meat: some of the wholesale places will sell you a whole fillet for around $100 (2-3kg of meat). You can get a good set of steaks plus enough to roast or chop into a stirfry: lovely indeed.

You just need a good quality sharp knife, and enough wrap to shove some in the freezer.

I think they do other meats too, probably lamb and pork. Chicken is cheap enough, or head to the wet market to get that.

You've not learnt yet have you Bender? You can not, under any circumstances, convert the Burb. You may have very good reasons, but the Burb made his mind up and that's that. Kmart house brand, called "Homemaker". Made in Generia. 12 programs, variable loaf size up to 750g, light/medium/dark crust selection, delay timer so you can wake to freshly made bread.

We bought 2 on the weekend to take to Singapore (where breadmakers are overpriced but rice cookers aren't) in a few months. Have tried both - 1 with crusty white bread, 1 with wholemeal - to make sure they work and they work fine. A bit noisy, but no more than many others.

Definitely not as well built or versatile as a Panasonic (the best on the market and priced accordingly; $250), but an absolute bargain at the $29 price.
