Showers landside at Changi T2?
I know the Plaza Lounge I used to use closed down, and honestly can't remember which terminal it was anyway. Any idea if there are still any showers landside at Terminal 2? Googling has limited success for the aforementioned reason.
I know there are some airside, but it's handy to be able to stick your worn clothes and toiletries in your case before checking in and, as we don't fly 'til 2am and are going to a sweaty hawker centre for dinner, I for one will want to freshen up before attempting to sleep on a budget airline. At least we've paid for extra leg room
(Neo has been insisting we go from the budget terminal despite me telling him otherwise. Just found out that it's closed down so I think now he'll believe me.)
edit: got deja vu, may have asked this before, sorry.

I don't remember seeing any landside at any terminal, however, there are floors that I've never been to. Maybe have a look at the map of T2?

Yeah couldn't see any. Might have to take advantage of Batty's good nature and leave her with a pile of wet towels
edit: I found my previous thread on this, from 2008. Before BFG suggests it, no I don't believe Scoot has any first class lounges

Thanks nev, yes I've used those before, airside. It's no biggie either way, just need to pack accordingly

There are showers in the air?

before (landside) and after customs (airside)

Maybe it's just me but all the airport showers I've used are always after customs.
BTW some airlines do have showers onboard, I checked first class passengers only, of course.

There definitely used to be landside lounges at Changi. Those of us that don't live there notice these things more than those that do, of course - you have your own showers
Re: Showers landside at Changi T2?
Before every long-haul flight, I check where the showers are in every airport, in case I get stranded. So far I have not found a shower before customs, but like you said, I didn't check Changi airport. Although I did use the shower at Changi Airport once, during a short stopover from Japan on the way to Bali. No time to go home to shower .

Update: The showers in the Ambassador Lounge at T2 are perfectly acceptable but my little cubicle was certainly a bit dark and dank. No Auntie making sure I took my "free" juice, either A bit brighter and more pleasant at T3.
