Singapore to San Diego

Re: Singapore to San Diego
San Diego was delightful, and La Jolla especially breathtaking. The city is nicely sized, clean, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. My sister and brother-in-law flew in for the weekend so we mostly hung out and ate (a lot). Seafood is especially excellent in San Diego, and very reasonably priced. Didn't make it to the Aquarium and Coronado Island, but managed to do everything else. I especially liked South Beach for the laid-back surfing community vibe. The United Express puddle jumper I flew LAX-SAN-LAX was a little bit cramped and noisy (an Embraer 120 plane) after the A380 flight, but otherwise uneventful. At San Diego airport, TSA made me wait an hour because I only have one name on my passport... Never had this problem elsewhere before. I guess San Diego is the boondocks after all

hmmm.... now I want to move there. All I need is a job....
Re: Singapore to San Diego
Perfect weather there, Av. About 75 F and sunny almost all the time! You're on the East coast now, so the cost of housing shouldn't shock you too much eitheravatarless wrote:hmmm.... now I want to move there. All I need is a job....

San Diego is my favorite US City. If I committed a violent crime and found myself sent to the US for 10years as punishment, I'd choose San Diego.
So…if you wish to wish a wish, you may swish for fish with my Ish wish dish.
