At last!
After 13 years, the Reproductive Health Bill has finally been passed in The Philippines allowing for basic state funded contraception and sex education.
In a country where the birth, infant mortality and illegal abortion rates continue to spiral, kudos to the Aquino government for pushing ahead with this controversial bill.
And a massive finger to those who suggested that Typhoon Pablo, which has killed at least 1,000 people, was God''s wrath for daring to have the debate.
