Ben Affleck returns to his Boston roots to Produce, Direct, Write & Star in this crime drama
The flick has won the box office for the past 2 weeks here.
Its very much an action crime drama & to me a much better Boston flick than' The Departed'
This highlights the working class neighborhoods of South Boston (Southie) which just might be one of the toughest neighborhoods in the US & its interestingly still basically all white & heavily Irish.
The film keeps you engaged & the acting by all parties is superb. The home of Boston Red Sox-Fenway Park makes a star appearance in the story to make it a real Boston film.
