Re: Star Trek
really enjoyed it. My Russian speaking Mrs didnt like Checkov's accent though
Re: Star Trek
I imagine that in 500 years a Russian accent will be a bit different to the one they have today.
I saw it last week. Pretty good stuff. I particularly like the way that they are now in a deifferent leg of the trousers of time so they can do a whole new set of stories, without having to match the stuff Kirk did in the original series. Clever that. Should keep the Trekkies happy.
I bought the first series of the originals. $75!
Brilliant stuff though.

Re: Star Trek
next one has to have Tribbles in it! and Kirk trying to get into the pants of some green Alien bird.
Re: Star Trek
They already did the green alien girl - she was Uhura's room mate.

Re: Star Trek
Anyone ever play Elite? Got the shock of my life when I bought those Tribbles.
Re: Star Trek
Saw it. OK, not too great. The science stuff about red matter and black holes popping up on demand - whatever, it's Sci Fi.
The fact that the newly completed flagship of the federation is crewed and, eventually, commanded by cadets because "the primary fleet" was away doing something else was very grumble-inducing though.
