hmmmm.....that wasn't the point you were making earlier (it was more about food being just sustenance to the body). Agree some may enjoy chicken rice more than me, but it's part of a staple diet and not top cuisine.

yes .. that's right... I'm not a food person. I eat to survive. Good if the food tastes great but if it tastes horrible , I just wont eat it. HOwever, I will eat horrible chocolate because it is chocolate.

I think chick chat offered a relatively good chicken rice and me and my company liked it. Still not to top the ones you get from hawker stands at sbd. I really like this one from Toa Payo and I regularly keep coming back to that place.

Chatterbox is a little too overrated in my opinion and its price does not really live up to the expectation.

I grew up on Boon Tong Kee. Used to eat 3 bowls of the rice at one go, with or without the chicken !
But i must say the prices have adjusted quite significantly.
