Welcome to the new server.
Some changes that have been put in place with the move:
- New Announcement feature, the one you can see at the top of the page that will follow you around where ever you go
- All Post edits will be tracked and highlighted as an edit at the bottom of the edited post
- Quick Reply box is a lot quicker and leaner
- More Forum stats (see bottom of Index page)
- Enhanced BBCodes. YouTube embedding should be easier now
- Avatars on the Member List
And a couple of cosmetic changes that you would have already notice. Please keep us informed if you come across any weirdness or bugs.

Ah, and a couple of forum changes.
The US centric forum has been merged into the rest of the world.
The Employment forum has been moved under Practically Singapore.

So youtubes were difficult to embed previously?
But new place looks cool. Let's see who can break it first.
(Like it that you're telling people on the new board that they have to email you if they can't see it......hope you put that on the old board too!)

Now country specific youtube links will work. uk.youtube, jp.youtube etc
re: Emailing me, that's if they can't login. If they can't see that message, then the message they get is to reboot everything.

I obviously have a very short memory and also we had the christmas theme to confuse me, but what's different in the look?

no grey background. This one is a bit narrower. The blocks are more grey than blue.

Nice job MM Admin.
Prayer has no place in public schools. Just like facts have no place in organised religion.

Yeah, the grey stripes down the side are a bit of a waste of space but I couldn't recall if we had them before or not.
Did we have access to smileys with Quick Reply before? They come in handy for somebody as sarastic as me - good job I know this one

Waste of space to some, visually pleasing and balancing to others. Guess it depends on your upbringing
yeah, smilies and BBCode stripped from Quickreply box. It's really quick now. Want to get fancy, use the extra click on Post Reply.

Absolutely, we couldn't afford to waste anything in our house.

Thanks for everything, MM Admin.
A woman walked into a pub and asked the barman for a double entendre. So he gave it to her.
