What do you do???
We have loads of winter gear (not just big coats, but warmer tops, trousers and wool skirts and things) that obviously we don't wear here but I don't want to just get rid of it all...... are those vacuum pack storage bags available here and would everything just go mouldy if I used them...?
Cheers

Re: Storing winter clothes
This topic came up on the old board. Here's a summary:
Vacuum Storage bags are available in Singapore - try Robinsons at Raffles City.
Wash / Dryclean before putting in the bags.
Air the stuff in the bags every few months.
Anything I missed Kooky, Aliya?

Thanks
Re: Storing winter clothes
I got the good ones at Spotlight after buying the cheap ones and having them break.
Agree airing in the sun every few months is a must.

Not sure if they have them in Singapore but look out for Japanese moth repellant capsules. No odour, they work well in and out of vacuum packing and no issues after using them for over a decade (not the same ones obviously )
