Question
Why is there sometimes what looks like a little flame on the icon that tells you if there are any unread posts in the particular topic section? And does my question make any sense at all?

Re: Question
If you mean the topics in Diners Anon, it's because the Admins have enabled Topic Icons in that forum as a trial.
In general though:
A red coloured icon means unread posts.
A scrolling icon means it's a "hot topic" or more than 20 replies
A red * means you ahve replied to the thread
The three items above can be used together.

Re: Question
That's right Baloo. We might enable topic icons in all forums if they don't become too intrusive.
Re: Question
it is getting a tad surreal in here innit?
the little flame icon means it's a hot hot hot topic, or well you have to be flaming to read it, you decide

Re: Question
Not on this forum it doesn't. The flame is a topic icon. Try starting a topic in Diners Anon and see for yourself. You'll also see the trial of Forum posting templates in action there too.canuck wrote:the little flame icon means it's a hot hot hot topic, or well you have to be flaming to read it, you decide
The scrolling lines in the topic icon signify a 'hot' topic.

Re: Question
if only that made some sense,
okay I was wrong, it's a icon you can add if you consider it a hot topic.
hmm perhaps it should only have to do with flaming things, like burnt food or something that has flaming events, like fire walking

Re: Question

Re: Question
In the 'Last Post" column there is a little white box with a downward arrow after the last poster's name. Click that and it will take you to the last post. Doing it on the thread title would be annoying if you haven't read the firsts posts.Burbage wrote:What about when we click a thread title it takes us to the last page rather than the first?

Re: Question
I don't remember it taking you to the last post in the old forum just by clicking on the thread title.
