Automatic login
Is it just me? Or does this not work?
I did check the little box saying "log me in automatically, but, so far, it seems to have decided that, in the words of brain-dead bouncers everywhere, "yer name's not down, yer not comin' in..."
Admittedly it lets me in after I have painfully typed in my user name and password, but that's hardly the point, is it?

Haven't experienced it myself. Tried clearing your cookies and then reselecting on login ? If that doesn't work I can force the board to clear all cookies but then everyone will need to login again.

Re: Automatic login
Cos it'll be a right pain in the arse typing in "BFG"....I mean, just how long is that to type?

You are absolutely right FB.Fat Bob wrote:Cos it'll be a right pain in the arse typing in "BFG"....I mean, just how long is that to type?
But at least it's easier than typing in "total waste of tw*tting space and about as much use as t*ts on a frog" as you have to....
Oh, by the way - thanks Mr. M. - but I don't think I'll pursue this one...

Have you got cookies disabled?
Re: Automatic login
Let me know if you can't fix it BFG. I can always reformat the servers hard disk and reinstall everything again. I think I have a couple of days leave I can use.

Re: Automatic login
Thank you, but, as FB pointed out, it's hardly a show-stopper (yes, he was right. But that's not the point...).
My original queriy was to ascertain if this was a general issue or, more likely, me doing something stupid. Please don't waste any time on this, as it really doesn't matter...

Don't be such a pushover.
Same for me, I'm thinking of complaining to management.

You are right Daff. I should make a fuss, but sometimes having a life gets in the way...
