When you know you've gone too far.

Post by cromasaig » 15th Jan, '10, 22:22

After days of what seems like endless tantrums and fighting between twins 1 & 2, who turned 3 yesterday, I must seriously have lost it when I gave them a telling off this morning.

1. They ate lunch. All of it.
2. Following lunch, I overheard this exchange:

"That's very nice of you O. Sorry for fighting over your rubbish twuck"
"That's all right. We never fight."
"No, we don't. Is not nice."

The only possible explanation for this is that they have seen the light of lunacy in my eyes and I have actually frightened my infant children. Unforgiveable.

What do you think are my chances of doing it again?

I think they got the point perfectly, not too far at all :)!!
Remember, Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, but backwards and in high heels.

LOL! I thought you'd found the secret of toddler training. I was even going to buy your book.

Btw, we've started having "treasure hunts" around the house - lots of fun.

Dang, same. I seem to get as far as a glared and muttered "sorry" from the offending one to the other...
"I really love you" she said. "Is that the champagne talking" he asked. "No" she laughed. "That's me talking to the champagne"
