Useless Victorian politicians
Victorian politics is a shame at the moment - it is amazing that as a company director you are responsible for the behavior and outcomes of your company however a Minister simply sits in the seat and if incapable is merely moved on regardless of what happens under their control... Here is a suggestion - make ministers and their civil service senior secretaries as accountable as a director would be. In the case of the minister responsible in the Carl Williams killing in prison, charge the minister and civil servant in the same way a director would be charged if an employee was killed in an OH&S accident. Imagine how quickly issues would be solved if the incoming minister and secretary faced prison for letting people die due to incompetency?
