View from the Sydney Harbour

Post by Tas » 20th Feb, '08, 07:34

Nothing to say yet, just getting the Sydney contributions ready to go....

Oh one bit of Important bit of news - first bit of sun popping out for last hour than I've seen in a heck of a long time. Someone signed a contract for desalination in NSW and it's been flooding up the East Coast ever since .....

god it's been a tough one today. award winning baker sends in birthday cake with real fresh rasberries and 1.5 inch layer of king island cream on pav. and we're off to the establishment for lunch (cause apparently it's not a seedy pick up joint at lunchtime in the restaurant part) ....

I nearly posted you the other week. had an all day breakfast around 2pm at Xenos 3 saturdays ago. 2 saturdays ago was cooking my own bacon and eggs nosh up in Noosaville after a swim in the pool [smilie=groovy.gif] . Was very tempted again last weekend but wasn't in a sitting down mood. By the way, it's still good [smilie=meclap.gif]

I was being driven over the Sydney Harbour Bridge a week or so ago and I fell asleep for a few moments. I dreamt a big Killer Whale jumped out of the ocean and grabbed me in its mouth.
Analyse that. :o

We had a lovely day in Sydney a couple of weeks back. Our two weeks on the Central Coast were so damn busy that I was secretly a little peeved when dear aunty gave us a family ticket for all day travel on Cook ferries, admission to Taronga Zoo included. We had to use it while we were there, and luckily the day we chose turned out to be the only one with good weather during out entire stay. We had a lovely time on the harbour, the kids enjoyed the zoo and i felt suitably ashamed of myself for so begrudgingly taking the time out of our schedule.

those giraffes have the best view in Sydney. the day I went to the zoo was simply stunning weather as well

(for some reason I can't work out how to insert image - was going to put in one of the giraffe admiring the view that makes me chuckle)
