KC Dat did ours the other way around, and recently did Mr PP's stuff to HK as well. We have done about 4 moves with them within Asia and found them better than the others, although not the cheapest.

Question for those who have moved within Asia - has anyone done this themselves, that is, the company did not pay?

Right now am checking KC Dat, Crown, Nittsu/Nippon Express, am considering a fourth for comparison's sake.

We have storage to consider, for perhaps 3 months until we find a place. Thinking better to store here then ship, cheaper to store here, and am guessing air con storage is key.

Why would be storing things in Singapore be cheaper?!?!? Where you moving too that's more expensive than Singapore in Asia?!?!?

Yes, both HK and Japan are more expensive for storage than Singapore.

Sorry, I was thinking SEAsia and not Asia as a whole!
